This is made from Saperavi grapes.  It is a single vineyard wine from the Mukuzani Vineyard or Vineyard of the great Queen.  It is raised in French oak.  Purple in color, ruby at the rim, opaque and bright. The nose is nice with black cherries, cherries, spice and char.  Medium to full bodied.  Medium tannins.  Strong acidity.  On the palate, the cherries and black cherries come thru with underlying acidity.  It tastes similar to a Zin but more concentrated and more char.  Drink over the next five years.  Although, the back label does say " The product's shelf life is unlimited if its storage terms are kept accurately".  This is nice on its own but will work better with food. This will work well with grilled meats.
