I tasted this blind with a bunch of ITB people. Now, I don't drink many Hunter Valley wines, but many of them apparently do because there was a high success rate of calling this wine correctly. Pales green/silver/gold in color, clear and bright. The nose is nice with lemony notes and a bit of a powdered sugar quality. Also, a slight waxy note. Light to medium bodied. Serious acidity. Light tannins. On the palate, the lemony notes come thru with tart acidity. Long finish. This is nice on its own but really begs for acidity. It will work with many foods such as grilled Shrimp but also baked Ham. Drink over the next five to eight years.
