This is a wine that many people will like. It retails for around $15 and is ripe sweet fruit. Purple in color. The nose has cassis and fresh cut lumber. On the palate, this is sweet ripe jammy fruit. Some oak. It is all about providing an easy to drink, jammy wine. If that is what one likes, than this is a nice value. A cocktail wine.
Another value wine from an excellent prodcuer of value wines from California. This is a very ripe and easy to drink Cabernet. Purple in color. The nose has black raspberries, with a slight prune note. On the palate, black raspberries, plums and slight prune. Jammy in style. Slight spice. Slight tannins. Ready to go to a party at $15.
Ruby in color, clear and bright. The nose has red currants and spice. On the palate, this is easy drinking. Some Red currant fruit. Plenty of spice and lumber. No tannins. Light. Probably should have been drunk earlier as the oak seems to have outlasted the fruit though there is some fruit left.
This is a $12 Cab. There is certainly value here. Purple in color. The nose has black cherries and black raspberries. Slight spice. On the palate, this is a bit sweet and a bit syrupy with black raspberry fruit. Drinkable. Meant for enjoyable wine and a lower price.
