Yellow/green in color. The nose has wet stones/minerals. Also some peach qualities. Really explodes from the glass. On the palate, this is slightly sweet. Lots of depth. Nice minerality. A lot of 2015's have shut down but this one was open for business about 20 minutes after popping the cork. Would work well with lighter foods or also spicy foods. Still young (of course), this wine probably has two decades left. At under $20, this is a screaming good deal.
This is drinking beautifully. Medium golden in color, clear and bright. The nose has pineapple, wet rocks, slight rock candy and slight peach. Lovely semi-viscous texture. Good acidity. On the palate, this is sweet but just a bit. Pineapple and peach with underlying minerality and wet rocks. Long finish. Delicious. This is mature and probably should be consumed in the next ten years. Great on its own, this is very food friendly. It will work great with Peking Duck.
Another great showing for this. A tremendous value. Light golden in color with slight green hues. The nose has wet rocks, slight peaches and lemons. Mildly viscous. On the palate, this is crisp and just a bit sweet. The peaches and minerality carry thru. Long finish. This is still young but drinks well. It should easily last another decade. Great on its own and a nice match with a lighter salad.
This is drinking well right now if young. It was brought to a Japanese restaurant and worked wonderfully with all of the foods. It is sweet, so if you are not fond of sweet wines, then you may want to pass. Light yellow gold in color. Beautiful nose of minerals/wet stones, grapefruit and a bit of pineapple. Slightly viscous but with good cut to it. Lots of depth as well as width on the palate. The grapefruit dominates here but there is a nice underlying minerality. Good finish. It is delicious but with the right food is where it really shines. This will probably continue to evolve

Nice to check in on this wine after a few years. It is open and drinking beautifully. Richters wines are always good to great, but they are always some of the best values in Germany. This one is no exception. Light golden in color. The nose has slight peach with lots of minerals/wet rocks. With air a bit of floral not comes out. On the palate, this is sweet but not overtly. A reasonable amount for Spatlese. It is crisp with nice peaches and wet rocks. Long finish. This will go with almost any food but will excel with spicy Thai or Indian.
