2015 Dönnhoff Felsenberg Riesling Großes Gewächs, Germany Nahe, Wine Review

Wonderful, if still very young, showing for this wine.  Golden in color with just a hint of green hues.  The nose has peaches with smoke and wet rocks.  Boisterous acidity.  Great texture.  On the palate, this is delicious.  Peaches and baked peaches oppose crisp minerality and wet rocks.  Plenty of depth if still tight.  It unwinds in the glass.  Long finish.  This is very young and just starting to get expressive.  It should improve over the next twenty years or so and then drink well for twenty more after that.  Quite food friendly, it went well with Chinese food but should also work with Thai food.
