Great value! This is a GSM blend of 44% Syrah, 29% Grenache, and 27% Mourvèdre. Ruby/purple in color, mostly opaque and bright. The nose has black raspberries, black cherries and smoke. Medium bodied. Light tannins. On the palate, this drinks easy. Black raspberries with smoked meat notes. Nice finish. A great choice for a wide variety of occasions. Perfect for pizza night. This is a GSM blend from California. Torrin makes great wines. They are huge and really should go seven to ten years from vintage prior to opening, but it depends on how you like 'em. It is a blend of 40% Syrah, 33% Mourvedre, and 27% Grenache. Inky purple in color, opaque and bright. The nose is great with black raspberries, boysenberries, plums, black cherries, char, black pepper and spice. Full bodied. A bit of black licorice with air. Medium tannins. Few people make Grenache in California at a level of this. Manfred Krankl, the owner/winemaker here, does it consistently. It skirts the line of being large yet having elegance. This is a blend of 76% Grenache, 16% Syrah, and 8% Mourvedre. Just a delicious wine. Inky purple in color. This is a blend of 43% Syrah, 41% Grenache, and 16% Mourvedre. 15.1% abv. Inky purple in color, opaque and bright. The nose is complex and strong with black raspberries, blueberries, black cherries, roasted meats and herbs, and char. Full bodied. Plush texture. Great acidity. On the palate, this is still young at age 12. Juicy black raspberries with blueberries and black pepper. Long finish. Delicious. This is great on its own and will require bigger foods. It would be great with a hearty beef or vegetable stew. Drink over the next ten to fifteen years.
This is a blend of 51% Syrah, 31% Grenache, and 18% Mourvedre from Paso Robles. Inky purple in color, opaque and bright. The nose is lovely with black raspberries, black pepper, roasted meats and herbs. Full bodied. Plush but silky texture. Medium tannins. On the palate, this is delicious.
