From Magnum.  This is a blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Merlot, 3% Petite Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc.  Purple in color, opaque and bright.  The nose is nice with cassis, black cherries, cherries, cedar, milk chocolate, slight tobacco and spice.  Full bodied.  Medium to firm tannins.  Nicely balanced.  On the palate, this is drinking well if maybe not at peak (in Magnum).  Flavors of cassis, black cherries, plums, spice and slight cocoa.  Long finish.  This is a delicious wine that is great on its own and will work well with classic steakhouse foods.  Grilled Lamb Chops would be a nice choice.  In regular format, this is likely fully mature but has a five to ten years left at this level.
