Deep golden in color. The nose has a diesel note but also a honeyed quality to it. On the palate, this is sweet enough for dessert. Minerals and also some apricots. Ok aicidity. Drinking well now but with time left.

Made from old vines (alte reben). Light golden in color, clear and bright. The nose is nice with minerals/wet rocks, slight pineapple and a bit of diesel. Medium bodied. Some viscosity. On the palate, this is slightly sweet. Lots of minerality with a bit of pineapple and citrus (Meyer lemon?). Good acidity. Nice finish. Showing just a hint of age, this should drink well for another ten to fifteen years (at least). Nice on its own, this will work with lighter salads; a pasta salad would work well.
What a treat! Iced tea in color with some orange hues, clear and bright. The nose is lovely with apricots, oranges, slight tea leaves and a nice earthiness about it. Full bodied. Thick and viscous texture. Enough acidity but not strong. On the palate, apricots, caramel, oranges and spice. Long finish. This is unique and delicious. While a plain cookie would work, it may better to go with no food for this. It can't hurt, but wouldn't help. This seems like at age 26, it could do another twenty anyway. Big fun!
Richter's wines are some of the best values in German wines available here in the US. This is a dry version with just a touch of age on it. Very nice. Light golden in color, clear and bright. The nose has peaches, wet rocks, spice with the slightest touch of diesel. Medium bodied. On the palate, the peaches carry thru with underlying minerality. This is dry. The finish has some warmth to it. It is drinking well right now, and should continue to do so for the next five years or so. It worked nicely on its own but is better with food. A beet and goat cheese salad was perfect.
2015 was a hugely successful year for Richter. They are tight but never really shut down all the way. A bit of air or a decant is a nice idea at this time. Light golden in color. The nose is very pretty with pears, minerals and slight green apple. On the palate, this is sweet with a slightly viscous texture. Good acidity that balances the sweetness quite well. There is depth here with layers of minerals and pears. Long finish. This will go well with a wide variety of foods. From salads to spicy Thai, it should be easy to match. And delicious on its own.
