- New Kid in Town, The Eagles

There's a new kid in town when it comes to Sonoma Pinot Noir and her name is Deborah Bennett. A protege of Greg La Follette (#13 on our recent list of the most influential winemakers in the US), Bennett's label, Cerridwen Wines, launched in 2013 with the 2010 Van der Kamp Vineyards Sonoma Mountain Pinot Noir. Out of the gate it received acclaim with a 90 pt rating from Pinot Report. Having enjoyed the wine myself, I can attest it's a worthy entry on the list of Sonoma Pinot Noirs you need to try.

It's priced at $45 per bottle. Those interested in purchasing Cerridwen Pinot Noir can order by phone at 707-337-9011, or contact Cerridwen via their website, cerridwenwines.com.

For more than 25 years, The California Wine Club founders Bruce and Pam Boring have explored all corners of California’s wine country to find award-winning, handcrafted wine to share with the world. Each month, the club features a different small family winery and hand selects two of their best wines for members.
