This is 100% Pinot Noir from the Loire Valley in France.  It is more "elegant" in style.  Pale ruby in color, clear and bright.  The nose has cherries, rhubarb, and slight cranberries.  Clean.  Light, wispy tannins.  Nice balance.  On the palate, the flavors match the nose with cherries, rhubarb and slight cranberries.  Good finish.  This wine needs food to show its best.  It has some complexity but is made in a lighter style.  This would be a nice match with Roasted Turkey or a Mushroom Risotto.  Drink over the next five years.

This is 100% Sauvignon Blanc from the eastern end of the Loire Valley in France.  The "ES-56" stands for the Eocene period in which the soils were created 56 Million years ago.  Light golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose features lemons, slight peach and gun flint.  Medium bodied.  Slightly oily texture.  On the palate, the lemon comes thru along with White Peaches and slight minerality.  Good finish.  This drinks well on its own and will work well with lighter foods.  Chicken Salad would be a nice pairing.  Drink over the next five to eight years.

This is 100% Melon de Bourgogne from the western end of the Loire Valley near the Atlantic.  It is a go to source for well priced white wines that are crisp and mineral driven.  This is light golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose is deep with Crushed shells, slight Granny Smith Apples and a hint of lemons.  Medium bodied.  Crisp acidity.  On the palate, this has a nice minerality with a touch of citrus.  Long finish.  The classic pairing would be Oysters but it would work well with (spicy) Thai Food.  Drink over the next five to seven years.

100% Melon de Bourgogne.  Light golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose is big with lemons and some crushed shells.  Medium bodied.  On the palate, lots of minerality with a touch of lime.  The finish is short.  This is drinking well now and would be better with food.  It would work well with fried Calamari.  Drink over the next five years.

100% Melon de Bourgogne.  It seems that 10 or so years from vintage is a sweet spot for Clisson.  Medium golden in color, clear and bright. Expressive nose with aromas of Lemons and slight Ginger notes along with a chalky minerality.  Medium to full bodied.  On the palate, flavors of honey, ginger, and limes.  Complex.  Long finish.  This is at peak right now and while it might drink well for another 5 years or so, it will no longer be at peak.  Great on its own or with food, this will go well with all types of Sea Food.  Oysters or Clams would be excellent.

Medium gold in color, clear and bright.  The nose is steely with a slight lime note.  Medium bodied.  On the palate, some minerality with a very slight lemon feature. "Flat" on the finish.  This is a wine that is best consumed immediately.  It is still nice enough but not meant to age.  Drink now.  Better with food.  Grilled fish with a herbal sauce would be a nice pairing.

This is 100% Melon de Bourgogne.  Medium gold in color, clear and bright.  This is a bigger, semi-"blowsy" nose which  is nice.  Aromas of limes, slight crushed shells and Lemon Candy.  Medium bodied.  Good acidity.  On the palate, flavors of lemons and limes.  Refreshing.  Easy drinking.  This is a wine that benefits from early drinking to enjoy its freshness.  Drink now.  It is nice on its own but better with food.  Oysters is a classic pairing.
