Tasting Notes for Freeman Akiko's Cuvée Pinot Noir

This is one of my favorite wines. Discovered Freeman Pinot Noir while tasting in Sonoma a few years back and loved it. I recently had the great fortune of getting a reservation at the French Laundry. We ordered Freeman Pinot to accompany the 9 course meal and liked it so much we ordered a second bottle. So if it's any indication, we enjoyed Freeman Pinot so much it merited a second bottle at French Laundry!
I would serve this wine for:
Special occasions to people who enjoy wine. At $50 a bottle it's pricey for most people.
I shared this wine with:
Karen, Liza, and Jeff.
The nose on this wine reminds me of:
Said to me "you chose wisely"
This wine would pair well with the following foods:
Lamb
I think this wine is priced:
It's expensive but I fear before long Freeman will be a cult wine that becomes impossible to get. Buy it while you can.
If I have any gripe with this wine, it's that:
No gripes.
