A deep golden hued wine entices you on the very first sip. Notes of citrus zest, lemon-lime, white peach, light green apple, Asian pear, resin and a melody of herbs and wildflowers demand attention. The strong minerality and acidity frame this wine so the fruit and texture is what you notice first, and then realize its complexity, which ultimately provides a very enjoyable drinking experience. Comprised of Arinto and 35% Verdelho the wine was fermented in stainless steel, and then moved into used French oak barrels for a scant nine months, thus allowing the wine to retain its brightness.
