Trocken (Dry). Showing a bit more age than expected, this bottle was purchased at the winery and hand carried back (although our luggage made it back to the US a full day before my wife and I did). Deep golden in color, clear and bright. The nose has lemons, lime pith, slight white pepper, and wet rocks. Full bodied. Slightly oily texture. Fully mature and complex. On the palate, flavors of white peach, limes, slight white pepper and minerality. It is indeed, dry. Long finish. It is lovely and contemplative on its own but will work with simpler foods. It would be perfect with a Spinach and Artichoke dip. Drink over the next three to five years.
