This was aged for 3 years in oak barrels and then in bottle for and additional 4.5 years before finally being release in 2022. 867 bottles were produced. This is 100% Harslevelu grapes. Medium gold in color, clear and bright. The nose is lovely. Aromas of wax, slight honey, citrus and melon. It smells like the wine will be sweet but it is dry on the palate. Medium bodied. Slightly viscous. On the palate, this is dry. Flavors of apricots, honey, black pepper and slight char. Moderate finish. This has a nice complexity to it as well as being not the same old, same old. It is nice on its own but would be better with food. It would go well with Hunan/Chinese food with a bit of spice. Drink over the next five to ten years.
