Charles is the founder and CEO of Winemetrics, LLC which provides on-premise market intelligence to the wine industry. Charles began his wine career in 1978 as a viticulturist with the Taylor Wine Company in Hammondsport, NY and has spent the subsequent 29 years in wine production, sales, marketing and consulting. Prior to starting Winemetrics, Charles was a Marketing Director at Schieffelin & Somerset Co. in New York where he created several web-based systems for gathering and disseminating on-premise wine information. Charles resides in Fairfield, CT with his wife Joan and daughter Madeline.
