The Vibe:
Long Meadow Ranch is NOT a place to just stop by unannounced while tasting in Napa. It's very off the beaten path up a long and winding road. However Long Meadow Ranch ia a unique place to visit if you schedule an appointment in advance. A true ranch, they raise cattle and grow produce in addition to rpoducing wine and olive oil. They offer a hike, a safari style excursion, a wine and olive oil tasting, and a grand picnic lunch featuring their various ranch products. It's a unique experience compared to the standard Napa tasting room, just remember to schedule in advance.
Not good for:
- Anybody looking for the standard Napa tasting experience. This is not a place to stop in for a taste.
- Busses or large groups.
- Event hosting or weddings.
- Picnics.
Particularly good if you are seeking:
- To experience a glimpse into life on a working Napa ranch and winery.
