The Vibe:
Towards the end of a day of wine tasting, after you’ve covered all the big names and screened your share of art, glass windows, wood beams, and logo’d paraphernalia, be sure to stop at this little former post office in Rutherford. The tasting room is small, the doorways are lined in bare brick, and the young hipsters that crowd the counter are likely to be comparing their favorite local wine bars or restaurants. You’ll get to taste some quality cab, pinot, chardonnay and syrah, and hear the charming story about the couple who founded the winery just ten years ago. Be prepared to suck in your gut and dodge some elbows though – the place gets crowded.
