The Vibe: 

August Briggs winery produces a number of highly limited, single-vineyard and appellation-designated wines from vineyards throughout California's North Coast.  Joe Briggs (who has 25 years of winemaking experience) crafts a changing roster of varietals, dependent on ebbs and flows in the quality of the grape supply from year to year.

The winery is housed in a a classic California barn with whitewashed redwood exterior. There is a bright, casual tasting room in front, and a barrel room that guests can view.  Complimentary tastings are available from 10:30am-4:30pm daily.
