This was very nice. It is a premixed and sweetened Bellini cocktail that is a mix of wine and fruit puree. The original Bellini cocktail dates back to 1938 at Harry's Bar in Venice, Italy. The drink is orange in color and opaque. It is very refreshing with nice peach flavors. 6% abv. Serve chilled. A very fun and easy cocktail that is great on its own to drink on the back deck.
Another great vintage for this wine. Purple in color, opaque and bright. The nose is great with black cherries, raspberries, slight bramble, warm earth, and pepper. Medium to full bodied. Light to medium tannins. Great texture. Great balance. On the palate, this is young but already delicious. Flavors of black and red raspberries, black cherries and char. Lively. Long finish. It is drinking great now but should go another ten to fifteen years although it may likely be more "claret" in style. Drink on its own or with grilled meats, fowl or veggies.
Purple in color, mostly opaque and slightly flat. The nose is nice with black cherries, plums, and slight chocolate. Medium bodied. Good acidity. On the palate, this is mature and complex. Flavors of chocolate covered raisins with some plums. A bit of heat on the finish. This was nice with a bite of chocolate cake. Drink now.
