This is a Pinot noir from Switzerland. It is very lightly styled although elegant is perhaps not the right word either. Pale ruby in color, clear and bright. The nose is interesting with strawberries, light cherries and a hint of cedar. Light bodied. Good acidity. On the palate, strawberries with slight cherries. A slight herbal note. Good finish. This wine needs food. Fondue seems appropriate but most soft cheeses would work. Drink over the next five to eight years.
