A immediate nose e fresh baguette on a picnic plopped on a sun kissed hill of Vaucluse. So very Yeastie boys fragrant notes with light weight viscosity mouth~feel, mild cherry to blackberry lush, smooth tannin balance to the faint acid edge, missing spice, thoroughly refreshing overall…not to say ‘light weight’ in a deficient sense, because that would belie the finely crafted structure and elegant refreshment this well nurtured wine presents. A masterful blend of Grenache 70%, Carignan 20% and Cinsault a smooth 10%. (Where ist the Syrah?...but not needed.)
