A native of France, Veronique joined Bourgeois Family Selections after spending 6 years supporting Fortune 500 companies in the global business section of AT&T. This unique experience allowed her to hone her sales and customer support skills working with a wide selection of clients. She left the world of telecoms for that of wine to follow in the steps of her father, uncle, and her grand-father who all worked in the beer, wine, and spirits industry.

My wine travels have taken me to the following wine regions: 

I was lucky enough to grow up in France and have fond memories of the vineyards in my native region, Alsace. I visited Burgundy, the Rhone, and the Loire areas a lot too. I also enjoyed Westport Wineries when I lived in Massachusetts.

What I think of the movie Sideways: 

Saw it and enjoyed it but I don't see it as a cult movie...

My "wish list" of wines I want to acquire soon: 
My biggest wine pet peeve: 

Inappropriate serving temperature, overfilling the glass, and drinking wine fom plastic/styrofoam cups rank right up there... No, I don't think these are any signs of snobbery, but rather of good practices aimed at maximizing the wine drinking experience.

A tell-tale sign of a wine snob is: 

that they know better than you and won't listen to a suggestion.

The wine region I most want to visit: 

I'd really like to visit the CA wine country to see for myself!

Surprisingly, I recently finally tasted a Vino Verde I enjoyed. I had almost given up on them but found one worth trying.
