My hands, feet and heart have been firmly planted in the art and design world for 30 years now. I'm a neophyte when it comes to wine, I only started enjoying it 8 years ago but it has become another passion in my life. As an avid Francophile, I am partial to French wines (I also work for a small importer) but can enjoy and appreciate it all.

Loire Valley, Burgundy, Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley.
This is one that I've seen many times, loved it... especially glimpses of the vineyards and the passion for the wine. Did it make me a Pinot Noir groupie? Heck no!
Anything wonderful that I'm not familiar with (and that I can afford!)
To have someone "overpour" the wine that is in my glass. I prefer to experience each glass from start to finish then do it again.
Someone that flaunts their wine acquistions and dogmatically inflicts their wine preferences on others.
Can't just pick one! Bordeaux, Barossa Valley, Willamette Valley, etc....
Friends that appreciate wine and food!
Champagne Giraud Grand Cru Ay, Fut du Chenes 1998; Chateau Tertre Roteboeuf, 2005; Domaine Cornu, Corton, 1991; Domaine Henri Naudin-Ferrand, Ladoix 1er Cru, La Corvee...
A very old french wine that was fabulously made and is still singing it's own little opera.
When asked whether he confused a Bordeaux with a Burgundy in a blind tasting, British wine legend Harry Waugh (1904-2001) replied: "not since lunch."
Panasau, El Vell Coster 2005; Ca d"Rocchi, 2000 Amarone Della Valipolicella, La Bastia, Tinazzi.
