Tasting Notes:
The Private Reserve named for Dr. Walter Clore, who was a pioneer in Washington viticulture of Bordeaux "Le Peite Chais" methode and techniques for wine making, is a blend of 54% Cabernet Sauvignon and 46% Merlot. It was aged in new French oak for 24 months. Initial nose of Medoc and inky black thick plum fragrance Bordeaux. Tastes of Blackberry, currant, with an ethereal lush deep expansive structure as it stretches its' legs. It is sedate and restrained, yet solid as a rock flavor profile that'll stand up to anything. Medium weight melanin velvet lushness on the palette. Black fruits, smokey vanilla and oak supple balm, layered soft lingering finish. Lovely stuff is this: Bravo and Grazie to Ray Einberger, vin maker, what a treasure thou have wrought.
