Tasting Notes for Airfield Estates Merlot
Wine Tasted:
I would serve this wine for:
This is an everyday wine. Not for special occasions but Ok to split a bottle to take the edge off on a Tuesday night. I wouldn't buy this wine again.
I shared this wine with:
Etta, Adam, and Kathryn
The nose on this wine reminds me of:
It's got a hot nose to it. At 16% alcohol its no surprise the nose is hot.
This wine would pair well with the following foods:
Sloppy Joes. Spaghetti. Any ground beef with spicy tomato sauce.
I think this wine is priced:
Fairly.
If I have any gripe with this wine, it's that:
The alcohol content is ridiculous. No way should a merlot be at 16%.
