Another great wine from Denner.  It is a blend of 55% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah, 5% Counoise, 5% Cinsault and 5% Tannat. Deep ruby in color with some purple swirls, mostly opaque and bright.  The nose has black raspberries, black cherries, char, slight floral notes and spice.  Full bodied.  Medium tannins.  Still on the youthful side but showing hints of getting closer to peak.  On the palate, lots of black raspberry fruit, plums over a bit of earthiness.  Lovely texture.  Good balance.  Nice finish.  This will work well with roasted fowl, veggies or meats.  It should continue to mature and be great drinking for another ten to twelve years.
