Tasting Notes:
Actually from the Montalcino region of Italy, this Sant' Antimo Rosso is a blend of 25% Sangiovese, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 15% Syrah, aged 14 months in French oak barrique style barrels, still, it comes across as under-developed? Fragrances of cranberry and pomegranate in the glass. Thin, light weight body, tastes black currant, blackberry, dry grass, with soft edged acidity, easy-going smoothness to short, clean raisin finish of 30 sec.
I would serve this wine for:
Make a great Wine Spritzer with ice cubes 2/3 Cum Laude and splash of soda.

The nose on this wine reminds me of:
Faint cranberry and dense pomegranate.
This wine would pair well with the following foods:
Would compliment Osso Bucco made with green olives.
I think this wine is priced:
Compared to other Italian wines, it seems double what it should be.
If I have any gripe with this wine, it's that:
Thin.
