This was quite good.  It is different than the Italian versions especially in taste and texture.  Light green/gold in color, clear and bright.  The nose is nice with lemon creme, sea air, minerality and slight tropical fruits.  Medium bodied.  Creamy texture that is almost seamless.  Good acidity.  On the palate, tropical fruits and minerality with some lemon-lime notes on the finish.  This is delicious on its own and will work with lighter foods.  It went well with Korean BBQ Tofu.  Drink over the next five years.  Screwcapped.

This is getting a bit old in the tooth but still had something to offer.  Golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose is clean (no diesel) with slight grapefruit.  Medium bodied.  On the palate, very slight oxidation with some peach notes.  A bit bitter on the finish.  These are past prime if this bottle was representative but just a bit and should be consumed sooner than later.  It is very food friendly and worked nicely with Nachos.

Les Beugnons is one of the oldest "Climats" in Burgundy tracing back to 1572.  Dampt makes this wonderful value in a more "modern" way vinifying the wine in a concrete egg.  The result is a wine that is green/light gold in color.  The nose is clean with a bit of peach and slight citrus.  Medium bodied.  Excellent acidity.  On the palate, this is crisp with notes of white peach.  Long finish.  This is great on its own but better with food.  Of course, shell fish but don't discount pasta in a butter sauce.  Drink over the next seven to ten years.

This bottle was decanted about six hours prior to drinking.  Deep ruby in color, mostly clear and bright.  The nose is deep with black cherries, chocolate, raisins and slight black licorice.  Full bodied.  Nice texture.  On the palate, this is complex and deep.  Flavors of black cherries, dark chocolate and raisins.  Long finish with slight alcohol.  This is delicious and contemplative on its own.  It will work well with chocolate.  Still plenty of life left, well stored bottles should have another ten to fifteen years.
