| Notes: I was pleased with this Bordeaux, but not blown away by it. The cellaring smoothed out the tannins and created the nice velvety texture you hope to get from the right-bank, and the nose had some nice qualities of leather and oak. The fruit flavors where still present and the balance between tannins, acid and alcohol was good. Probably opened the wine at the right time, no more than a few more years would have been beneficial. |
