Tasting Notes for Château du Moulin~Rouge Haut-Médoc Cabernet Sauvignon 2005

This Cru Bourgeois from Cussac-Fort-Medoc, France I bought early on in phase #1 personal vin edu journey, and tucked it away into one chill cellar 2 yrs ago; recently opened, breathed for 3 - 4 hours and promptly got wacked upside of the head with flavor profiles that normally, anyone of which, would be oft-putting impact to my taste senses and level of experience. Well, that has certainly changed...in one fell swoop. This 'lovely' "special blend" of evilness is 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet franc 5%, Merlot noir 50%, and has pristine stagnant brackish notes, tastes of like tar dripped, tobacco dark wrapper maduro, and has 1970 Ft. Polk Basic K.P. grease trap vapors of death und dismemberment, heavenly Fume de Petrol, together with leather hide chew...give it a bite-it bites back? Mid-palette solid medium weight of dark Date fruits, charred beef fat residue runs down chin, Star Wars Trash Compactor scene alien fluid ilky sinister goodness...if goodness ist like unto the darkness of "Blue Velvet" or Twin Peaks alternate plane of reality? An instant addictive bright find favorite, this complex balance of fluids, petrol, sanguine, and other worldly profiles. Simply must find some more. Now. Punched a dozen plus of my appreciation wine enthusiast buttons with a zeal of veal, buttons I've never before knew existed. Fantastico velvety structure of this Bordeaux assails the senses, like Rangers' Death From Above theme song.
