Tasting Notes for Black Opal Shiraz 2008

My first experience with a Shiraz was quite welcomed. Personally, I had mine with a Veal Florentine dish, perhaps not the best pairing, but both were delicious. The Shiraz is a nice middle ground between a Cab. Sauvignon and a more fruity Pinot Noir.
