New style blend now 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre is confusing to me at best; I would never have messed around with near perfecto previous version Rhone blend. ...you can get trapped in second guessing yourself into dullsville, and not that this is...but I just enjoyed being in the previous 2005 mix much more gracious and expansive vin. Initial peppery nose with fresh crescent yeast background and I thought "here we go -spicy city". But twelve minutes later ist bland grained softness, but while still blessed Rhone blend, is so low on the horizon, you almost don't know it is here. Easy drinking ja, but it is easy going nowhere -so, enjoyable but no peaks, no valleys to distinguish either direction.
