Frank Thinks:

A fair restaurant corkage fee is:

I don't believe in bringing my sandwich to the diner.

A tell-tale sign of a wine snob is:

Won't respond to "Hey, gimme a slug, huh?"

The wine region I most want to visit:

Hungary.

My "wish list" of wines I want to acquire soon:

A dozen more reasonably priced reds

My biggest wine pet peeve:

Where the hell is that corkscrew?

My favorite wine quote:

"I can't be drunk enough to recommend this wine."

My dream wine to one day taste or own:

DRC, Y'Quem

The best wines I have ever tasted:

Hard to say - I'm going with a young Lafite on release maybe three years after vintage. Around 89 or 90, i'm guessing. The first wine I ever tasted the promise.

The people with whom I most often enjoy wine:

Other oeonophiles.

The last wine I had that I absolutely loved:

2006 Ribeira.

What I think of the movie Sideways:

Not as big of a waste of time as it could have been. One could leave before the end.

My thoughts on the 100 point rating scale made famous by Robert Parker and emulated by seemingly everyone:

Wine hobbyists have always graded wines. Although amateurs may assign a wine an 87 or 88 do they really think that they are making a 1-2% distinction in quality. personally, I find it hard to determine that I like or dislike a wine as little of 5% more or less than another.

My wine travels have taken me to the following wine regions:

NJ, PA
