Truffles, Tidbits and Wine Tasting

“Truffles, Tidbits and Wine Tasting”, will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2008 from 6 to 9 p.m. at participating downtown Pleasanton businesses.

The Truffles, Tidbits & Wine Tasting event will kick off at The Rose Hotel, 807 Main Street, Pleasanton. Participants will receive a commemorative wine glass, map, and of course, enjoy “Truffles, Tidbits and Wine Tasting.”

Wineries of the Livermore Valley Winegrowers Association will be pouring red and white wines, ports, dessert wines and champagnes. Each participating business will feature sweet treats and/or hors d’oeuvres to pair with the selections being poured.

Only eight hundred (800) tickets will be offered for this event and will be available for advance purchase beginning Monday, January 7, 2008, for $25.00 at Clover Creek (670 Main Street), Studio 7 Fine Arts (400 Main Street), The Rose Hotel (807 Main Street) and the Pleasanton Downtown Association offices (830 Main Street, Suite A - behind the Cheese Factory building.)

This event has been a sell out every year so don’t wait until the last minute to purchase your tickets. If there are any remaining tickets available, they will be sold the evening of the event at the Rose Hotel for $30.00 beginning at 5:45 p.m. All tickets must be redeemed for glasses by 7:30 p.m.
