This winery has recently shut its doors, but there is still wine in the market.  The wine was brought up in a combination of used French oak and steel.  Light golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose has nice minerality along with a touch of Meyer Lemon and pears.  Slightly oily texture.  Good acidity.  On the palate, slight lemons along with almonds.  Slightly bitter note on the finish.  This wine has shed its youth but is still drinking well.  Drink over the next year or two.  Nice on its own, this will work well with Thai food.

As always, this is a blend of left over single varietal wines to make a value blend.  And as always, it is a great value.  This vintage is  mostly Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel.  Deeper ruby in color, mostly opaque and bright.  The nose has cherries, black cherries, char, spice and slight chocolate.  Lovely texture.  Bright acidity.  On the palate, black cherries, cherries with some char.  Good finish.  An easy to drink red that is nice on its own and a great wine with a Burger.  Drink over the next few years.

This winery still exists but they were sold and utilize a completely different model for grapes these days.  But, back in the day, this was the best winery in Ohio.  It is located in the southern part of the state along the Ohio River.  Deep garnet in color, mostly opaque and bright.  The nose has black cherries, slight herbal notes and a bit of spice.  Medium to firm tannins.  On the palate, black cherries, green bell pepper, and some spice.  Good finish.  Overall, a pleasant, quality Cabernet that at age 19  is drinking just fine.  still, I would drink these sooner than later.  Probably b

Silvery green/gold in color, clear and bright.  The nose is interesting with orange peel, salinity and spice.  Slightly oily texture.  On the palate, peaches with spice.  Long finish.  Overall, a very nice, clean white wine that drinks well alone and will work with lighter foods.  This would work with Lemon-Garlic pasta.  Drink over the next couple of years.

The grapes for this wine come from the Wy'east vineyard.  Wy'east is the Native American name for Mt. Hood.  Light silvery gold in color, clear and bright.  The nose has pears, slight citrus and almond.  Light bodied.  On the palate, pears and citrus.  This is an easy drinking, lighter wine.  The folks at Sineann suggest Sushi as a pairing and that sounds about right.  Drink over the next year or two.  A very nice value.

This wine is made in northeast, Ohio with purchased grapes from Red Mountain, WA.  It is a very good Cab and a nice value.  Purple in color with ruby hues, mostly opaque and bright.  The nose has a bit of a smoky quality but also cassis, slight cedar and spice.  Full bodied.  Medium tannins.  Good balance.  On the palate, cassis, slight black cherry and char.  Good finish.  This is not a robust Cab but it does have enough fruit to drink on its own and would work well with a burger.  Drink over the next five to seven years.

I believe these grapes came from California.  Ruby in color, mostly clear and bright.  The nose has cherries and some char.  Light tannins.  A nice backbone of acidity.  On the palate, nice cherry fruit.  This wine is nice on its own but really works better with food.  A bit more fruit forward than say, an Italian Barbera, but certainly not a fruit bomb.  Drink over the next three to five years.

This is a barrel selection of the best barrels of various vineyards and bottle exclusively in 375ml bottles.  Deep ruby in color, mostly clear and bright.  The nose has cherries, sour cherries, slight nutmeg and slight char.  Medium bodied.  Light to medium tannins.  Good acidity.  On the palate, sour cherries, some cherries with a lovely texture.  Good finish.  This could use another five to ten years of cellaring but is enjoyable now.  Drink over the next fifteen years.  Nice on its own, this would work well with grilled chicken breast.

Wow was this interesting.  11.6% abv.  Very pale ruby in color with some orange hues, clear and bright.  It looks like a rosé.  A lovely nose with cherries, sea air, kirsch, and cloves.  Medium bodied.  Light tannins.  Soft texture.  On the palate, cherries, cranberries and a slight orange note.  Moderate finish.  It drinks well enough on its own but would be better with food.  Salmon would be classic but maybe some Cajun Gumbo would be really good too.  Drink over the next year or two (but it might go longer, I have no idea).

Bought on release at the winery.  This bottle has held up quite well and while mature, did not seem like a 24 year old Oregon Pinot.  Ruby in color with no browning and a bit of purple-ish at the core.  The nose features cherries, sour cherries, some earthy funk and a bit of char.  Medium to full bodied.  Tannins are there but wispy.  On the palate, this is drinking well.  Cherries and some dried cherries with earthiness.  Good balance.  Nice finish.  Drinking well but still, I wouldn't sit on these for too much longer.  Good on its own but better with food.  This would be perfect with gril
