Tasting Notes:
ARTSY, HIP Label, Cool fad ecologico B.S., slick Metro presentation, a total puffed up MARKETING WINE; tiny substance, no craft behind it, raw rough, totally green product, big advertising $$$ dollars to Wine Spectator, inflated review from Robt Parker (what the hell was he thinking?...oh yeh, is tagged 'green'/ecological BS). Tastes white spice like Shiraz, an ODD stem green flavor afterwards, like aroma from fresh trimmed yew shrubbery, as if thou can see the stems in taste, too raw, eerie faint miso aftertaste, plum, cough syrup, super short finish back pallet spice, cardamon this time, zero acidity, invisible tannins ~shallow flavor profile overall....Hipster Doufis-Artsy fartsy marketing going nowhere wine, with nein substance or structure, apparently nowheres-ville. (And to think I frkn bought the $55 'MATSUMA' which is supposed to mean 'old man' in Japanese..but does not. "Matsu" by the by is supposed to likewise mean "young man" in Japanese, but true to current global hipster meaningless modern marketing does not -it means "of pine wood" in Chinese. ...better give the Matsuma away as a 'gift'?) HiHo, so it goes.
I would serve this wine for:
Nobody, except at political fund raiser ;; perfect venue for fake wine?
I shared this wine with:
..no enemies exist to share with.
The nose on this wine reminds me of:
Freshly trimmed yew shrubbery as the Knights of NIT would be familia with?
This wine would pair well with the following foods:
Raw veal and stems of daylillys...not really/nothing
I think this wine is priced:
about $13 over priced.
If I have any gripe with this wine, it's that:
It is phony a come-on like a...present president, socialism, Hegel, Lenin, whatever, too much piling up these days:: hiho.
