Silky elegant kirsch alcohol fume nose, BP oily legs, fine fortified raisen texture, tastes slight spice cardamon edge, faint violet, currant liqueur, finish of quince and lingering elegance. Will drink well 2012 to year 2030.

Annum: this is Ramey Cellars new proprietary blend. It's absolutely one if the best red blends on the market. Full, cocentrated and powerful. It's blended from various vineyards of Napa. You can't say enough about David Ramey's skills. This 07 Annum is drinking well now but I'll place a few in the cellar for a few years.

Whiffs of sanguine plasma and anchovy coming from first open & taste; nose of green quince skins, rose pedals; more tastes of black current without harshness, semi-sweet to bitter chocolate and Anjou pear back ground, solid black-squid ink color & texture, with a full mouth feel not heavy, flows out to exquisite finish, balance structure….really remarkable, after a 4 hour opening air-out, and totally as unique as that of a closed up Sicilian Frapatto. All from a varietal courtesy Aldo Adige, northern Italian Alps.

Must have time to open 2 heures at very minimal. ..which leads one to believe has some 5-10 year age potential...and look for magnums, ja?
