A fair restaurant corkage fee is:

$15-$25, depends on the restaurant

A tell-tale sign of a wine snob is:

A wine snob is someone who insists that their wine tastes should be everyones wine tastes.

The wine region I most want to visit:

Rioja, Spain

My "wish list" of wines I want to acquire soon:

Multiple bottles from 2008 (anniversary year)

My biggest wine pet peeve:

"popping" the cork (sparkling or otherwise)

My favorite wine quote:

"The biggest barrier between you and enjoying a good glass of wine should be the cork."
-Andrea Immer Robinson

My dream wine to one day taste or own:

A collection of 2008 vintages to cellar and enjoy for anniversaries.

The best wines I have ever tasted:

Need to taste a few more before I can label any of them "the best."

The people with whom I most often enjoy wine:

My wife and other family members.

The last wine I had that I absolutely loved:

1994 Lafluer de Gay Pomerol: Had it on my honeymoon with Lamb.

What I think of the movie Sideways:

I loved it!

My thoughts on the 100 point rating scale made famous by Robert Parker and emulated by seemingly everyone:

I think the rating scale is a good tool for wine buying. People just need to make sure that their tastes are similar to the tastes of the person doing the rating.

My wine travels have taken me to the following wine regions:

Planning to get over to Washington State, Oregon and California soon.
