GrapeWise WINE 101 takes the snobbery and mystery out of tasting and enjoying fine wine. and offers a fun and relaxed way to learn more about one of life's greatest pleasures ~ Wine. Whether you are new to wine and wine tasting, or are a seasoned wine aficianado, GrapeWise' WINE 101 offers something for everyone! Our Philosophy: Wine Tasting Should be an Adventure! Maximize your Wine Tasting experience with WINE 101 - Some WINE 101 Topics: Demystifying wines - red, white, and blush Basic winemaking Understanding varietals - merlot, syrah, , pinot noir Influence of soil and climate Decrypting wine labels Getting the most out of wine tasting The more you know about wine, the more you'll appreciate the spectrum of wine choices that are available, and add that extra dimension to the daily basic routine of eating and drinking! * Classes are 90-minutes in length and cost $50.00 per person, and includes an exclusive WINE 101 gift! * (Class size is limited, so reserve your space early! And, Call us for groups of 8 or more) * August and September 2009 classes will be held at the Santa Barbara Public Library, across from the historic Santa Barbara County Courthouse! (Plenty of free parking too!) * Classes will begin at 5:30pm on Friday evening, ending at 7:00pm, leaving plenty of time for dinner afterwards.
