A Peter Huwiler "Graveyard Special" He buried several bottles of Merlot (1992?) in his backyard and brought them to a party - they looked awful but tasted divine! Sorry to see him leave Merryvale. He's a fun guy!
Best Ever:You know, I tend to love the wines that go with amazing meals and happy times spent with friends. To me, where and with whom you drink wine becomes part of the experience. I do love the Mosel's amazing rieslings and the amazing way Fiano di Avellino (perhaps a Feudi di San Gregorio or Mastroberardino) pairs with the bold seafood dishes you find in Naples and the surrounding seaside towns. I'm a lot more about the entire wine experience and much less interested in labels, price tags and scores. But that's just me.
