I'm looking at summer white wines right now...Albariños from Spain, Fiano di Avellinos from Italy...and I'd love to try some new dry rosés from the Loire Valley.
2003 Rene Rostaing Cote Rotie La Landonne. I tasted this wine recently and it was absolutely, and without question, the best wine I have ever tasted - complex structure, bouquet and finish with the most significant earthy, mineral flavor of the regional terroir throughout. Just amazing.

Pet Peeve:Jammy, sweet, unharmonious wines that spoil immediately due to having no structure.
